A. Acceptance of Terms

Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any applicable additional service-specific terms.

tasalle® may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page, and continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

II. The Services

tasalle® provides technology that enables Brands, Partners, and consumers to:

  • Authenticate and verify products
  • Manage product serialization and identification
  • Support anti-counterfeiting and brand protection
  • Track products across applicable supply-chain stages
  • Manage warranties and product registration
  • Engage consumers through digital experiences
  • Access dashboards, analytics, reports, and alerts
  • Integrate with other systems through APIs and approved integrations

Verification results are generated using information and validation mechanisms available to tasalle® and/or the relevant Brand.

tasalle® does not guarantee that every counterfeit, cloned, tampered, or unauthorized product or identifier will be detected. Verification technology is an aid to authentication and does not replace physical inspection, laboratory testing, regulatory certification, or other professional verification where required.

III. Accounts & Security

Some Services require an account. You must provide accurate and current information and keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for activities conducted through your account and must immediately notify tasalle® of suspected unauthorized access, compromised credentials, or security incidents.

You must not share credentials with unauthorized persons or attempt to bypass Platform security or access controls.

IV. Acceptable Use

You must use the Services lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

  • Provide false, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Misuse, duplicate, clone, or manipulate product identifiers or verification mechanisms
  • Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to the Platform, accounts, APIs, or databases
  • Interfere with Platform security, availability, or performance
  • Introduce malware or other harmful code
  • Scrape or systematically extract Platform data without authorization
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to circumvent technical controls, except where legally permitted
  • Use the Services to infringe the rights of tasalle® or any third party

tasalle® may suspend or restrict access where it reasonably believes these Terms have been violated or Platform security or integrity is at risk.

V. Brand & Partner Obligations

Brands and Partners are responsible for ensuring that information they provide to tasalle® is accurate, lawful, current, and authorized.

This includes product information, serial numbers, product images, warranty details, trademarks, supply-chain information, campaigns, and other submitted content.

Brands and Partners must have the necessary rights and permissions to use and provide such information and remain responsible for compliance with applicable laws relating to their products, labeling, warranties, advertising, distribution, and consumer obligations.

tasalle® may provide tools for reporting suspected counterfeit or suspicious products. Such reports are not, by themselves, a legal determination that a product is counterfeit.

VI. Intellectual Property

tasalle® and its licensors own all rights in the tasalle® Platform, software, technology, designs, interfaces, documentation, trademarks, and other tasalle® materials.

Brands and Partners retain ownership of their respective trademarks, product information, images, and other intellectual property.

You may use the Services only for their intended purpose and may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit tasalle®'s intellectual property without authorization.

By submitting content to tasalle®, you grant tasalle® the limited rights necessary to host, process, display, and use that content to provide and operate the Services.

VII. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

tasalle® does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or capable of detecting every counterfeit, fraudulent, cloned, or tampered product.

Information provided by Brands, Partners, or third parties may not be independently verified by tasalle®. tasalle® is not responsible for third-party products, services, systems, networks, or integrations outside its reasonable control.

VIII. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tasalle® shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or business interruption arising from use of the Services.

tasalle®'s total liability relating to the Services shall, to the maximum extent permitted by law, not exceed the amount paid by the relevant customer to tasalle® for the applicable Services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

IX. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

tasalle® may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, create a security or legal risk, provide fraudulent information, or fail to meet applicable payment or contractual obligations.

Upon termination, your right to use the affected Services and associated credentials will cease. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and governing law will survive termination.

X. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Subject to applicable law, the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services.
